Hello. This is a very important entry:

Similar to Feisty, I have recently learned that strangers (or people who I consider strangers) have been reading my blog. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind people reading...it's a public site after all, but what I DO mind is the fact that they (yes, you! you know who you are and I know who u are) have been reading this blog to personally dig out personal information about me i.e my whereabouts, where I'm going, what I'm going to do etc...

Now,I have a few things to say to you:

1. GET A FREAKIN LIFE! Don't you have better things to do besides poking your nose at other ppl's life (who are not even closely connected to you??) C'mon, just leave me alone will ya? I really dislike people who intrude my privacy. So please, this blog is not Lia's personal CNN broadcast...it's just a website that I thought (no longer think) a good idea to share with my close friends about my daily ramblings.

2. Thanks to you, I have to resort in a private blog and am considering a temporary hiatus. So yeah, thanks for making my life more complicated!!

3. How would you feel if others do that to you? Ok, then don't!

Again, please stop. leave me alone. Merci!

until we meet again... says: you are a woman to love angelia.

Am I? If so, then why do my love life SUCK??? (It's a rethorical question, so, NO, you don't need to answer)

Look, I know y'all think I shouldn't feel like this by now. But I really can't help it. I wish I could programmed my brain to tell my feelings only to feel a certain way, but obviously that's not the case.

I'm such a loser for even writing this entry and publishing it. but whatever.

**July 6th**
After writing my lousy entry (yeap, the one above),I watched Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants yesterday (on pirated dvd), and I simply had to write down what Bailey, (the litle girl who had Leukimia) said in a video recording that she recorded for Tibby (one of the girls). She said: "... You know Tibby, maybe the truth is there is a little bit of loser in all of us you know. Being happy isn't having everything in your life be perfect. Maybe it's about stringing together all the little things...like wearing this pants, or getting to a new level of Dragon Slayer....Making knows what counts from all the bad stuff that happened....Maybe we just get through it...that's all we can ask for."

See, I'm not a loser after all. At least I'm honest. And I know I'll get through it,get over it as time passes. Maybe I'll come to fully understand and accept everything. Maybe not. Who knows. In the meantime, I'll just be looking forward to those little things...like reading the new Harry Potter that will be out next weekend.

Ciao. Infinite Xes and Os.
-Lia

PS: Sorry for the mopy entry!

Heyya. It's been a while since I last blogged I know. Everyone's been asking. Not sure why, not in the mood to write these days. For those who have been out of the loop since my last entry, I'm back home in Jakarta now. And your next question must be: what have you been doing?

1. Busy shielding off everyone's comments that I am FAT and have big (pig) thighs. I swear everyone here is so superficial about looks it makes me so sick sometimes. Weights are so overrated here. And oh yeah, they are rude enough to ask about your weight and tell you how many pounds to lose! So, I truly recommend that y'all lose a few pounds before stepping to Soekarno Hatta airport....
2. Going to the gym whenever my mom goes to play tennis, which practically is almost everyday (sometimes forced out of my own will as well).
3. Endless dr.'s appointments (thank goodness it's over)
4. Mall, mall, mall.
5. Movies - just watched The War of The Worlds. I think it's alright...hate the ending though so short and abrupt. I guess they were tight on budget towards the end of the movie?!? LOL.
6. Reading Nick Hornby's new book abt suicide (no, I'm not attempting one). It's awesome. Loving it.
7. Watching dvds - just watched Ms. Congeniality yesterday. The most hillarious part is when i realized that the subtitle in Indonesian are so off from the real dialogue! So much for translations!

So yeah.... well, that's pretty much what occupied my days for the past week. Nothing too exciting. I am expecting the next few weeks to be though.... goin to Sg for 2 weeks to meet with my crazy cousin and help her move apartment. And finally meeeting my friends!!! Teckooo are you ready for me?? OH AND HOW CAN I FORGET - HARRY POTTER IS OUT IN 3 WEEKS PEOPLE!!! SO PLS FINISH READING ALL THE BOOKS (you know who you are) SO U ARE READY FOR HALF BLOOD PRINCE!!! I'm so excited I can barely contain myself!!!!! (don't rub that the wrong way please) Ok, back to the story, I can't wait to meet my friends in Sg. And do some serious, serious shopping. Although I doubt I can pig out and be a glutton coz my momm will be supervising me. Arghh.

I don't think I'll be blogging alot btw. I'm planning to go to Manado for a week or so after Singapore and then hopefully to China & Hongkong for a few weeks in August. So darlings, I will just e-mail y'all and send pictures ok? (**Feisty is probably saying: yeah, right.**)

Oh and one last but v. imp thing: I miss you guys heaps. Hope you're having a great, long, independence day weekend!

hugs, kisses infinity.

Just one more week to go and they are giving me more stuff to do than ever. This job never fails to make me feel exhausted at the end of the day. On a softer note, I feel bittersweet about leaving. Jim just called to say he will miss me. He mentioned it three times. Farah too. Lindsey said - Paul, could you please tell Lia I'm not happy that she is leaving. Theresa AIMed me to say " I understand, but I'm not happy and I don't like it. " It defintiely feels good to feel you are needed. I will truly miss my team. But, I also need the much deserved holiday before going to grad school.....
And I'm looking forward to hanging out with my close friends back home whom I haven't seen for so long. Too bad *someone* has to get a job and not be able to bring me around as promised. (note sarcarsm). I'm looking forward to meeting my parents....wait, I think I've written a similar blog before or am I having a dejavu?!?!
Anyway, I'm looking forward to many exciting things at home. As the old saying goes, one door closes, another opens.
In the meantime, I'm looking forward to hanging out Feisty and Suhendra san on my last official weekend in Virginia....Mr. & Mrs. Smith is definitely on our schedule, including endless pigging and eating as usual.

Alright, that's all I have for now. Btw - pls download Citizen Cope & Santana's Son's Gonna Rise - it's simply awesome.

Sourcing is freakin' boring. I've got half an hour more to go. Dave and Denis are listening to stand-up comedy CD in their cubes behind me....at least some sort of entertainment. I feel obligated to blog my Atlanta trip, just because I had such a blast!

Ok, so the recap.
Tuesday: drunketty drunkety drunk.
Paul and I left Tuesday afternoon from Dulles...we got there at 6 PM, ate at Margianno's with Jim, Farah, and Christine ...I had this gigantic 1000 layers(or so it seemed) lasagna that I barely touched. And that's where the wine started. Oh, and their caesar salad was ah.mah.zing. Then we head back W Hotel after dinner to meet the rest of the group - Theresa, Julie, Lindsey, and Rosemary ard 10ish. Then we hit the hotel bar, and the wine kept on flowing...blame it on Christine...before I knew it I already had 5 glasses of red wine and T was talking about her research on bikini wax, shaving, and...(ok, i won't reveal too much)but yeah we were getting there. (intoxicated i mean)...so it's 12 smtg AM....and i was pretty sure I had almost the whole bottle of merlot by then. I was trying hard to walk straight and Theresa was like. Oh hell yeah, you're drunk. I was like...no, I'm not. Yeah right.

So we went back to our rooms and I called Allie who was half asleep. Hang up, called Feisty and that's where the fun (or rather, torture) began. I couldn't remember exactly what I was blabbering ....all I remembered was asking her why do we say "ohmygod and not ohmyfei, ohmyme, ohmydad....and the list goes on". I was crawling to get a bottle of water for like 10 minutes. Oh yeah, and Fei told me I laughed like a hyena. So, yeap, I'm definitely a scary drunk.
So I went on calling almost everyone in my address book and finally stopped before letter "L" and collapsed.

Wednesday: I was amazed at myself for being able to wake up at 6:30 for my meeting...i didn't really have a horrible hangover, just neauseus (sp?) mostly.... but I remembered feeling giddy on my way to the bathroom. Damn merlot. So, we had a great meeting and lunch....yadda yadda yadda.... and had great dinner at this Brazillian Steak Place called Fou De Chao and then we went to a local comedy club - Punchline. And the drinks started again. This time I tallied everything - I had 3 vodka tonics (blame that on Paul), 1 fuzzy navel, 1 strawberry margarita, 1 cosmopotitan, 1 merlot, and 1 champagne. Yeah, I peed every half hour. But I'm proud to say that I wasn't drunk (or not drunk enough),I didnt slur, i walked straight to our car, and i took pictures for all of us too. Yeay for me.

But we did come up with interesting nick names for our group. Farah our boss, would love to be called SB (skinny bitch) outside our meetings of course, and Theresa the F*bomber, Julie the ELCMP princess, Rosemary the jersey - how ya doin gal, Christine - the new mommy, Jimbo "my wife dont matter" Gowan, and Lindsey"is my teeth purple?" and Paul's still the regular Paul...we tried to get him drunk by taking disgusting lemon drop shots but that wasn't successful.

Oops...almost 6, gotta go for meet for dinner. We're having Crepes at Pentagon Row...will blog more later (or whenever I feel like it).

peace out.

My Potter fever is back!

Check this this out: http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/harry_potter/thegobletoffire/ .
Radcliff is HOT!
Can't wait till November! And before that, the 6th book is coming out on July 16th - Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince. I've pre-ordered them at Kinokuniya in SG.
Yes my friends, I'm going to be there just for Potter.

My brother and his roommie just bought a terrier puppy named Muffin. Grrr. Jealous. I want one too! Although Tecko thinks that I might kill my future puppy ' coz I'm so blur most of the time.

Oh - I got this random Friendster message from a guy named Matt: This is what he said: " I'm a dirty whore. You should go out with me." And I checked out his profile, under About Me section he wrote: "I'm a male whore." Seriously dude, get a life.
Sickening I tell you. Friendster is getting trashier each day, just like Apprentice (no offense to loyal fans). It's a breeding ground for online stalkers.

Alright enough blabbering, off to the gym for threadmill, then go home to pack for Hotlanta.

Peaceout. Radcliff love.
